What we sharpen

Sharpening is not a service we broker out. Carbide-tipped circular saw blades, HSS circular sawblades, carbide-tipped concrete core bits and annular cutters are all sharpened on our own equipment, in our own shop.

Pick up and delivery is available, and most work moves through the shop in a day or two rather than sitting in a queue.

Carbide-tipped circular saw blades

We sharpen blades from 102mm (4") up to 900mm (36") in diameter on AKEMAT U-10 CNC grinding machines. Tooth forms are freely programmable, so geometry can be optimized for your specific application rather than ground to a generic profile.

The goal is the same one we've worked to for 25 years: minimize your tooling costs and maximize the working life of every blade.

HSS circular sawblades

HSS blades from 75mm (3") to 900mm (36") are ground across three CNC-controlled grind centres, including a SCHMIDT TEMPO Freestyle 6-axis automatic grinding machine, with a maximum one-day turnaround.

Vario tooth grind and chip breaker slots are available where the application calls for them, and pick-up and delivery can be arranged.

Concrete core bits & annular cutters

Carbide-tipped concrete core bit sharpening and repairs are completed in our shop, with a standard turnaround of one day.

Annular cutters are sharpened on site to the same standard. REMI is an authorized sharpening shop for WALTER high-performance annular cutters, servicing all standard sizes, tooth forms and geometries.
